The Lex Caribbean group, with its vibrant professional services offering including legal and corporate services, seeks a motivated and energetic Senior Financial Accountant to champion our finance team’s delivery of services to the group. Overview of Responsibilities and Technical Requirements Oversee the finance department’s processes and systems Supervise and provide guidance to the accounting team Support accounts receivable collections Oversee all payroll activities including the administration of all employment benefits Ensure accurate production and timely delivery of monthly and year-end financial reports for both single entities and combined for the entire Group Present financial information and analysis to senior management on a routine and ad hoc basis. Prepare annual audit schedules and coordinate audit Ensure compliance with all tax reporting obligations Assist with the budgeting and financial planning process The successful candidate will hold an accounting designation (CPA/ACCA) with a minimum of 5 years’ professional experience and possess sharp analytical and critical thinking skills. Audit experience as well as experience with group medical and pension schemes would be an asset.
